Nick Backovic is an experienced OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) specialist with a proven track record in uncovering and analyzing online disinformation campaigns, extremism operations, and foreign influence networks.

Nick brings a unique combination of open-source investigative skill, tool development expertise, and high-level reporting experience. He is proficient in multi-platform investigations, custom data analysis pipelines, and structured intelligence outputs tailored to media, security, and policy clients.

In his previous roles as OSINT Specialist, Nick:

• Designed and executed advanced investigations into global influence operations
   
• Led research that contributed to international sanctions and designation efforts targeting state-linked disinformation actors
   
• Produced intelligence reports that were used to inform U.S. Congressional testimony on the activities of foreign paramilitary organizations
